Kitscoty Arena Public Announcement
The Arena Board would like to address the lack of an accessible defibrillator in the arena when the lobby is locked for the night. We have decided to install a second defibrillator in the basement. This will be mounted somewhere in the vicinity of the staircase. Until this happens we will be leaving the lobby open so that in the case of emergency the defibrillator there can be accessed. You will find it located close to the main exit.
We have also had some thought into a first aid kit in the basement for emergencies as well. We have not come up with a final answer yet as to how we will accomplish this without having unattended children getting into it. Until we find an answer you can find a fully stocked first aid centre on the wall close to the North Ice entrance door in the lobby. I also want to remind all teams that you should carry your own first aid kit. That first aid kit IMO should be on the bench where it can be accessed quickly.
